Walter E. Williams wrote today about the retaliation about to take place from the perpetrators of the great global warming hoax. Tired of seeing their propaganda machine breaking down, the hoaxers are launching a “an outlandishly aggressively partisan approach” to getting their lies back in the mainstream.

Triggered by Stephen Dinan’s Washington Times article “Climate Scientist to Fight Back at Skeptics,” (March 5, 2010), Dr. Williams tells how

“Climate scientists at the National Academy of Sciences say they are tired of ‘being treated like political pawns’ and need to fight back…”

How are they going to fight back? Well, of course, by forming a non-profit organization to fund a massive propaganda push! How else? Are they going to offer any evidence that their propaganda is truth? OF COURSE NOT! They are going to criticize the critics! When the science is without basis, there is no other option. They cannot present data that will support their propaganda, it’s already been proven flawed. When all else has failed, kill the messenger.

Who is behind this propaganda push? Hee-hee. For one, Paul Ehrlich. HA HA HA HA. How’s THAT for credibility? Yes, the same Paul Ehrlich who famously proclaimed that

“The battle to feed humanity is over. In the 1970s, the world will undergo famines. Hundreds of millions of people are going to starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now. Population control is the only answer.”

And…

“If I were a gambler, I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000.”

THAT Paul Ehrlich, prognosticator of prognosticators!

Anyway, Ehrlich’s latest attack on humanity, in an email obtained by the Washington Times, said

“Most of our colleagues don’t seem to grasp that we’re not in a gentlepersons’ debate, we’re in a street fight against well-funded, merciless enemies who play by entirely different rules.”

The entirely different rules in this case clearly being what our parents and grandparents used to tell us as children - Honesty is the best policy.

Ehrlich’s co-conspirator in this retaliation is his Stanford buddy Stephen Schneider. Another anti-human nutjob, Schneider is known for his statement:

“We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we may have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.”

Well, recalling Algore’s comment to Grist Magazine,

“I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are.”

Schneider’s balance is unquestionably skewed away from “being honest.”

Dr. Williams continues by noting that George Woodwell’s, founder of the Woods Hole Research Center, wrote, in another email obtained by the Washington Times, criticizing Penn State University for investigating Michael Mann, perpetrator of the Hockey Stick Graph hoax and one of the primary conspirators outed as a charlatan by the East Anglia Climate Research Unit documentation. Woodwell is the source of the call for

“an outlandishly aggressively partisan approach”

to getting the hoaxers’ outlandish propaganda back into the mainstream.

This is never going to go away. That should have become clear back when “scientists” shifted from absolute assertions of the imminence of a new ice age to the unquestionable catastrophe of global warming overnight - and based on the same theory! - and no one questioned their veracity. It should have been made even clearer when Mann’s hockey stick graph was shown to have come from a computer program that outputs a hockey stick graph from random data and people still flocked to Algore’s slide show. It should have been made even more clear when James Hansen’s global warming data were proven to be falsified FOR THE SECOND TIME, and no one seemed to notice. These liars are never going to go away. It is up to us to remain vigilant and point out their lunacy at every opportunity, and it is up to us to fight the politicians, like Gore and Obama, who find their propaganda to be useful in their attacks on the American people.

Dr. Williams finishes with a potential ray of sunshine in this storm of BS though, noting that one politician, Senator James Inhofe, R-OK, is considering asking the Justice Department for an investigation into taxpayer-funded data falsification by 17 named taxpayer-supported global warming conspirator “scientists.”

Senator Inhofe needs our support and encouragement in his efforts.

Inhofe Family Builds Igloo ‘Gore’s New Home’

The family of Sen. Jim Inhofe, a vocal skeptic regarding man-made global warming, had some fun at climate change crusader Al Gore’s expense by building an igloo near the U.S. Capitol.

The Oklahoma Republican’s daughter Molly Rapert, along with her husband and four children, built the igloo over the weekend as Washington was hammered with a fierce blizzard.

The family posted a cardboard sign on the igloo’s roof reading “AL GORE’S NEW HOME” on one side and “HONK IF YOU [HEART] GLOBAL WARMING” on the other.

Sen. Inhofe, the ranking Republican on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, told Roll Call newspaper that his family’s ironic tribute to Gore was “really humorous.”

The senator even posted several photos of the igloo on his Facebook page.

In the early 1920’s, Germany saw a number of youth organizations spring up, trying to reclaim the success of the pre-WWI youth groups such as the Boy Scouts and the very successful back-to-nature Wandervogel. The NSDAP, (Nazi) party was formed just after the war when Adolph Hitler renamed the German Worker’s Party he had come to lead. Seeing the success of these youth organizations, he authorized the formation of the Youth League of the National Socialist Worker’s Party. A proclamation published in the official Nazi newspaper in March of that year declared “We demand that the National Socialist Youth, and all other young Germans, irrespective of class or occupation, between fourteen and eighteen years of age, whose hearts are affected by the suffering and hardships afflicting the Fatherland… enter the Youth League of the NSDAP…” And the Hitler Youth was born.

Following the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch, Hitler was thrown in jail, and the Hitler Youth was officially disbanded. It was reorganized in 1925 and given the official name Hitler Jugend. By 1928, the Jungvolk, a new department for boys aged 10 to 14, and the League of German Girls were added. The organization’s leader, Kurt Gruber, reaffirmed the Hitler Youth goal of training children to “free Germany from the shackles of Capitalists.”

In 1932, Hitler Youth campaigned for Hitler in several elections. Hitler’s goal was to achieve power democratically and then eliminate democracy. Over the next few years, the age group widened for both sexes, and the organization became more indoctrinated to Nazi ideology. By 1936, membership was made mandatory for all German youth (excluding Jews.)

Fast forward to 2008. Barack Obama is running for President of the United States. He has the delegates needed to be officially named the Democrat Party candidate for that position in August. Obama declared on July 2, 2008”

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Obama’s website laid out the details of what he was stammering on about, the details of his “Civilian National Security Force.” What is this civilian national security force that is to rival the US military in power, strength, and funding? Well, it turns out, Obama was talking about his plan for universal community service for young people and massive federal spending on voluntary service for the rest of us. Stepping up to Hitler’s 1936 standard, Obama is calling for mandatory service for middle and high school students and “voluntary,” but indentured, servitude for college students. The Obama Youth!

In the Obama Youth, all children over the age of about 11 will be required to serve the orders of the all-powerful state, as Obama seeks to nationalize most charities. The Obama Youth will become voluntary once His indoctrinated minions reach college age; however, since the Liberal Messiah Himself decrees that they be paid an effective salary of $40 an hour tax free and since after the initial group passes through the organization all college-aged youth will have been fully indoctrinated, the program will be nearly universal while not called “mandatory.”

Mrs. Messiah, Michelle Obama, discussed the Obama Youth in a February speech to UCLA students, saying “Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to do better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.”

In addition to the Obama Youth’s indentured servitude, Obama has also noted his plans to mandate that 25% of college work-study jobs be moved off-campus with the goal of forcing that to 50%. He has proposed a Classroom Corps, a Health Corps, a Clean Energy Corps, a Veterans Corps, and a Homeland Security Corps to go along with his nationalization of non-profit organizations, turning charities into government contractors.

Obama’s “just as well funded” goal will also, after considering federal government programs already violating Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution and the 9^th and 10^th Amendments, will add another $500,000,000,000 to our tax burden. Half-a-TRILLION dollars in NEW spending on this one program alone! Coupled with Mrs. Messiah’s repeated message to children “Don’t go into corporate America. You know, become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers,” one has to wonder why he thinks children should go on to college at all, and then we’ll have to consider the additional tax burden that will be required to put all of the people he succeeds in indoctrinating through the Obama Youth program to work in public make-work jobs as well!

The Obama Youth program certainly parallels the Hitler Youth goal of “free[ing the country] from the shackles of Capitalists.” It fits right in with Obama’s Marxist platform, putting everyone to work for the all-powerful government. AND…it promises a future much like the end of the Soviet Union. A nation where everyone works for the all-powerful central tyranny, and no one is left to pay the taxes needed to keep it running.

Hitler succeeded in achieving power democratically and then eliminating democracy. Given all of the above, perhaps we should rethink what we all called just another Obama gaff. When he spoke of dealing with foreign leaders for 8 or 10 years, we may want to consider that he actually can add 4 and 4, but does not think he will have to be concerned with the two term limit or anything else dealing with our current representative republic.

Remember those words. November 4^th is approaching.

Everyone is outraged at the price of gasoline, and rightfully so. However, has anyone bothered to put things in perspective?

Granted, $4.00/gallon is worthy of our rage, especially given the political restrictions on accessing the vast resources within our own borders, but people are being stirred into a frenzy by the press and by politicians stupid enough to tell us to just fill our tires and wait for a new scientific discovery to appear via legislation, complete with a nationwide production and distribution infrastructure and new vehicles that magically appear in our garages. Folks are actually complaining that they cannot afford to take a vacation, cannot afford to go out to eat, or even that they cannot afford to DRIVE TO WORK, for crying out loud!

Perspective:

Since Nancy Pelosi announced Democrats’ “commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices” while campaigning in 2006, gas prices have risen from $2.91 to $4.09. Quite a plan, huh? Anyway, if we use an average of 15,000 miles per vehicle and 16 miles-per-gallon, that amounts to a $1,106 annual gas price increase. (And… 16 mpg is well below the CAFÉ standard required for both cars and trucks, making that $1,106 considerably higher than it should be.)

Now consider that many of the very same people screaming bloody-murder about the high price of gasoline, calling for the nationalization of the oil industry and the theft and re-distribution of their middle-class stockholders’ income, and screaming they cannot afford to go to work, are also enthusiastically supporting the election of politicians who have expressed their dedication to raising income taxes by a weighted-average of $1,857/year (among other tax increases)!

I guess it’s not surprising they also believe those politicians when they claim that raising the oil companies’ costs will decrease the pump price???

Obama is on record now discussing $12/gallon gasoline. What was his response? Well…NOTHING! No mention of drilling. No mention of refining. No mention of relenting in the Democrat attack on the oil industry. No mention of anything whatsoever, except “change.”

So, let’s look at the Democrat party’s response to this whole gasoline mess. They refuse to drill, even going as far as to say that the law of supply and demand doesn’t work. They refuse to permit refining, even when we currently have to import 15% of our refined gasoline. They tell us that increasing supply won’t help, WHILE deciding that we can sue OPEC for refusing to increase supply. And, finally, they tell us that the only way to reduce prices is either to increase cost or come up with a new scientific discovery.

Liberals look at reports telling us that we have more oil in the Rocky Mountains ALONE than the entire world has used since oil was discovered, and tell us it’s irresponsible to take it. Liberals look at Cuba’s agreement to allow Vietnam, among others, drill in the Gulf of Mexico, inside the limit Democrats refuse to let American oil companies near, and complain that it’s not environmentally safe for our companies to drill there. THEN, they have the nerve to say that we must become energy independent???

I’ve been wondering how we can become energy independent if Democrats vote, as they have recently, in lockstep to keep us from becoming energy independent. I’ve been wondering what could have destroyed enough Liberal brain cells to make them believe that increasing cost and artificially restricting supply in the face of rising demand will lower prices. Then It finally struck me how Democrats think it can be done, and it was their demand for higher CAFE standards that made it so clear!

All we have to do, in the “minds” of liberals, is to legislate a scientific discovery into being! THERE! Energy Independence, ala The Democrat Party!

That bunch of lawyers who, in large part, have never worked anywhere but the public sector for most of their lives, decided that auto makers can defy the laws of physics and build vehicles that get far more mileage than is possible. When automakers told them that as long as friction exists, they cannot meet the standards, Liberals scoffed and pointed at their shiny new law! Apparently, all it takes is for some moron in Washington to push a bill through Congress and get the President to sign it, and VOILA! A brand new scientific discovery that no one has EVER heard of before! AMAZING!

Yes, our fearless leaders have determined that science comes down to wishing something were so, believing really, really hard that it is so, and then getting their fellow elected boobs to pass a bill making it so. Hence, their response to $12 gasoline! All they need to do is write a law that says “Thou Shalt Discover an entirely new fuel source.” Why…we mere humans (a.k.a. those of us NOT inside the Washington beltway) have been so stupid all of our lives. We never realized that all we need to do is have Congress pass a bill, and we will instantly see a brand new source of fuel that no one has EVER heard of before pop into existence. Not only will that new fuel source magically appear, but a new national production and distribution infrastructure will instantaneously appear, and all of our vehicles will magically start running on this newly-legislated-into-being fuel! WOW! Amazing, isn’t it? I wish I had known all of that before I wasted so much time in science classes! What a waste of time!

That MUST be what Obama and the other wannabe tyrants believe! How else could their completely irresponsible approach to energy be explained? How else could their completely irresponsible approach to the economy be explained? How else could their completely irresponsible approach to the climate be explained?

Oh…Wait…If forgot the obvious. They DON’T want us to be energy independent. They DON’T want us to have economic freedom. They DON’T want us to breathe as much air as we please. It’s not that they actually believe their own propaganda. It’s that they know that so many of us WILL believe their nonsense, and THAT will make us the nation of obedient little slaves to the all-powerful federal government that gives them goregasms in the night.

On June 12, 2008, five unelected, unrepresentative lawyers sitting on the Supreme Oligarchical Throne of the United States declared themselves the sovereign authority in all matters relating to not only the United States, but apparently the entire planet. The ruling of the five US Supreme Court justices who have so routinely denied any significance of the US Constitution simply threw the two elected branches of the federal government out the door and declared their will superior to all others.

All hail the self-appointed US Ruling Oligarchy: Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Anthony Kennedy, John Paul Stevens, Stephen Breyer, and David Souter.

Justice Scalia, in his dissent, wrote “The Court today decrees that no good reason to accept the judgment of the other two branches is ‘apparent.’ … What competence does the Court have to second-guess the judgment of Congress and the President on such a point? None whatever. But the Court blunders in nonetheless. Henceforth, as today’s opinion makes unnervingly clear, how to handle enemy prisoners in this war will ultimately lie with the branch that knows least about the national security concerns that the subject entails.”

In fact, the five black-robed oligarchs have laid the groundwork for an overall declaration of supremacy. If they see no reason to so much as acknowledge government of the people, by the people, and for the people in this case, how can they be expected to do so in future cases?

The arrogance of Justices Ginsburg, Breyer, Stevens, Souter, and Kennedy is absolutely astounding! As Scalia repeatedly points out in section B of his dissent, the oligarchs went so far as to fabricate precedent where none existed in order to write their fantasies into law! They selected specific words from their cited precedent COMPLETELY without context, fabricating meaning that was specifically and explicitly excluded from the very precedents they themselves cited! Not only has this anti-American bunch violated the US Constitution and countermanded BOTH elected branches of our government; they have even gone so far as to declare their current personal opinions superior to THEIR OWN previous personal decisions! In other words, this bunch has declared their whimsy of the moment superior to anything and everything!

Further, the five oligarchs declared that their whimsical reach extends beyond the sovereign territory of the United States!

Scalia noted that the Eisentrager case, which the oligarchs themselves cited in their decision, “held–held beyond any doubt–that the Constitution does not ensure habeas for aliens held by the United States in areas over which our Government is not sovereign.” Yet the oligarchs ignored the clear wording of their own citations and declared their current whimsy superior!

With these five arrogant tyrants declaring themselves superior to all else, and an elected Legislative branch filled with weak-kneed and weaker-willed sheep who seem to think the term “Supreme Court” implies overall supremacy of these five individuals to ALL others, the US Constitution has now been completely replaced by five individual tyrants and their collective will-of-the-moment.
