Walter E. Williams wrote today about the retaliation about to take place from the perpetrators of the great global warming hoax. Tired of seeing their propaganda machine breaking down, the hoaxers are launching a “an outlandishly aggressively partisan approach” to getting their lies back in the mainstream.

Triggered by Stephen Dinan’s Washington Times article “Climate Scientist to Fight Back at Skeptics,” (March 5, 2010), Dr. Williams tells how

“Climate scientists at the National Academy of Sciences say they are tired of ‘being treated like political pawns’ and need to fight back…”

How are they going to fight back? Well, of course, by forming a non-profit organization to fund a massive propaganda push! How else? Are they going to offer any evidence that their propaganda is truth? OF COURSE NOT! They are going to criticize the critics! When the science is without basis, there is no other option. They cannot present data that will support their propaganda, it’s already been proven flawed. When all else has failed, kill the messenger.

Who is behind this propaganda push? Hee-hee. For one, Paul Ehrlich. HA HA HA HA. How’s THAT for credibility? Yes, the same Paul Ehrlich who famously proclaimed that

“The battle to feed humanity is over. In the 1970s, the world will undergo famines. Hundreds of millions of people are going to starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now. Population control is the only answer.”

And…

“If I were a gambler, I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000.”

THAT Paul Ehrlich, prognosticator of prognosticators!

Anyway, Ehrlich’s latest attack on humanity, in an email obtained by the Washington Times, said

“Most of our colleagues don’t seem to grasp that we’re not in a gentlepersons’ debate, we’re in a street fight against well-funded, merciless enemies who play by entirely different rules.”

The entirely different rules in this case clearly being what our parents and grandparents used to tell us as children - Honesty is the best policy.

Ehrlich’s co-conspirator in this retaliation is his Stanford buddy Stephen Schneider. Another anti-human nutjob, Schneider is known for his statement:

“We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we may have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.”

Well, recalling Algore’s comment to Grist Magazine,

“I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are.”

Schneider’s balance is unquestionably skewed away from “being honest.”

Dr. Williams continues by noting that George Woodwell’s, founder of the Woods Hole Research Center, wrote, in another email obtained by the Washington Times, criticizing Penn State University for investigating Michael Mann, perpetrator of the Hockey Stick Graph hoax and one of the primary conspirators outed as a charlatan by the East Anglia Climate Research Unit documentation. Woodwell is the source of the call for

“an outlandishly aggressively partisan approach”

to getting the hoaxers’ outlandish propaganda back into the mainstream.

This is never going to go away. That should have become clear back when “scientists” shifted from absolute assertions of the imminence of a new ice age to the unquestionable catastrophe of global warming overnight - and based on the same theory! - and no one questioned their veracity. It should have been made even clearer when Mann’s hockey stick graph was shown to have come from a computer program that outputs a hockey stick graph from random data and people still flocked to Algore’s slide show. It should have been made even more clear when James Hansen’s global warming data were proven to be falsified FOR THE SECOND TIME, and no one seemed to notice. These liars are never going to go away. It is up to us to remain vigilant and point out their lunacy at every opportunity, and it is up to us to fight the politicians, like Gore and Obama, who find their propaganda to be useful in their attacks on the American people.

Dr. Williams finishes with a potential ray of sunshine in this storm of BS though, noting that one politician, Senator James Inhofe, R-OK, is considering asking the Justice Department for an investigation into taxpayer-funded data falsification by 17 named taxpayer-supported global warming conspirator “scientists.”

Senator Inhofe needs our support and encouragement in his efforts.

Walter E. Williams, the John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University and former chairman of George Mason’s Economics department, noted speaker, commentator, and all-around brilliant guy, published a great commentary today on the Global Warming farce.

Dr. Williams notes that

Mounting evidence suggests that claims of manmade global warming might turn out to be the greatest hoax in mankind’s history. Immune and hostile to the evidence, President Barack Obama’s administration and most of the U.S. Congress sides with Climate Czar Carol Browner, who says, “I’m sticking with the 2,500 scientists.”

Well, once again, he hit the nail directly on the head. “Immune and hostile to the evidence.” Not only is Obama and his band of merry minions immune to the evidence, immune to the facts, immune to any sense of reality whatsoever, they are hostile to it. How DARE anyone present The Grand Tyrant with anything as trivial as facts! Facts and the data that support them only get in the way of really tyrannical dictatorship! How DARE anyone question The Grand Tyrant?

Dr. Williams concludes:

Given all the false claims and evidence pointing to scientific fraud, I don’t think it wise to continue spending billions of dollars and enacting economically crippling regulations in the name of fighting global warming.

As I noted, Walter E. Williams is a brilliant economist. He knows, and has written, that Obama is enacting crippling regulations and spending outrageously “in the name of” fighting global warming. No one could be as stupid as Obama appears to be, and still generate enough brain power to ambulate. He has a definite purpose, and that purpose is as he has laid it out in a lifetime’s writings and speeches - cripple the economy and control society.

Remember, the ONLY reason Obama has presented a “budget” with a $1.6 trillion deficit instead of a $2.2 TRILLION deficit is because he purposely hid the fact that he is relying on stealing another $646 billion from industry through the illegal imposition of a Cap-and-Trade tax to punish American industry for the sin of using electricity in their operations!

It could be no clearer. The man-made global warming farce is coming apart at the seams. Only Obama and his sycophants (and presumably Gore if he could be found) still cling to the 2,500 “scientists” myth (debunked nicely in “Consensus”? What “Consensus”? Among Climate Scientists, The Debate Is Not Over as well as on our “Quite Convenient LIE” page.) The ONLY reason to continue clinging to such utter nonsense is to exploit it in an attempt to destroy the economy and the capitalist structure which underpins it. As Dr. Williams wrote previously:

“Cap and trade” is first a massive indirect tax on the American people and hence another source of revenue for Congress. More importantly “cap and trade” is just about the most effective tool for controlling most economic activity short of openly declaring ourselves a communist nation and it’s a radical environmentalist’s dream come true.

Golly gee. What a surprise! More anthropogenic global warming lies have come to light. Who could have ever guessed?

The UK Guardian released the story last Friday of emails and documents swiped from servers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit.

The most interesting note on the entire subject is that the “scientist” involved have not made the slightest effort to refute anything in the captured emails. They have just whimpered about the theft. One scientist wrote in a November 1999 email:

“I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature [the science journal] trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie, from 1981 onwards) and from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline.”

The “scientific” response?

“You can’t tell what they are talking about. Scientists say ‘trick’ not just to mean deception. They mean it as a clever way of doing something - a short cut can be a trick.”

In other words, they ignored the meat of the issue - the “hide the decline” part - and tried the distraction of playing word games with the word “trick.” Really now, would it change the meaning to say “I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature clever way of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years and from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline?” Clever way, trick, mechanism, WHATEVER - TO HIDE THE DECLINE!

Of course, Bob Ward, director of policy and communications at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics, did point out that the individuals named in the alleged emails had numerous publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, so “It would be very surprising if after all this time, suddenly they were found out doing something as wrong as that.”

By the way, Mike is Michael Mann, who was responsible for the fraudulent Hockey Stick Graph. Why…how could anyone believe Mike could possibly have been involved in hiding declines after falsifying increases? Gasp! It really shouldn’t be very surprising to find out they were “doing something as wrong as that.”

“Scientists” then tried to minimize the impact of having shown the historical data behind their computer models to be false by claiming their evidence is manifold, and that

“At the heart of this is basic physics.”

Basic physics. Uh-huh. Basic physics, as in “neglect the influence of the sun!”

Michael Mann, now director of Pennsylvania State University’s Earth System Science Centre, who features prominently in many of the email exchanges, could only say:

“I’m not going to comment on the content of illegally obtained emails. However, I will say this: both their theft and, I believe, any reproduction of the emails that were obtained on public websites, etc, constitutes serious criminal activity. I’m hoping the perpetrators and their facilitators will be tracked down and prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.”

YEAH! Way to address the issue there, Mikey! “But…but…they took my candy bar. Yeah, I stole it in the first place, but they took it from me. Waaa!” Professional scientist. As an engineer myself, a sort of applied scientist, I’m ashamed of these boobs.

Then they closed, of course, by regurgitating the now comical apocalyptic claims:

“Evidence for climate change is irrefutable. …the impacts here in Britain and across the world will worsen and the economic consequences will be catastrophic.”

SO! Henny Penny is crying. Ignore the fact that she’s delusional and we have had to falsify data to support her delusions. They are some really vivid delusions! IF our falsified data weren’t falsified and her delusions were not delusional, then … WELL … you’d look pretty silly then…

And the official response from the Grand Tyrant? Well, Obama the Great said:

“With just two weeks until the beginning of Copenhagen, it’s also essential that all countries do what is necessary to reach a strong operational agreement that will confront the threat of climate change while serving as a stepping-stone to a legally binding treaty.”

Once again, facts do not matter to the political left. If it takes a hoax to destroy the western world and throw billions of dollars to third world dictators, the Big Lie trumps the truth every time.

Have you noticed, as I have, that it has been a relatively comfortable summer? I haven’t even heard Al Gore or his bleating sheep baah baahing out global warming lies. Could it be that even they realize that it might just be possible that the sun could — potentially, mind you — have something to do with earth’s temperatures? Naaah. I think I must be dreaming. Yeah, that’s gotta be it. Global warming means too much for Al Gore’s pocketbook for him to acknowledge what the entire world has known forever. That big yellow thing in the sky, which warms us during the day and cools us at night, which warms us when we’re closer to it and cools us when we’re further away, effects earth’s climate!

Now, the NOAA tells us that this summer was the 39th hottest on record for the contiguous United States, but given the curious placement of their weather stations, we had better look to the satellite data instead:

Solar cycle 24 was observed to have very late last year. It took longer than usual for the start of the current 11 year cycle to actually start because the sun was basically inactive, but then things picked up … a very little bit. Well, there has been VERY little solar activity through this year, and last month, there was not one single sunspot noted! Did we miss it? Man has been recording sunspots for centuries. We’ve monitored them relatively closely since before the United States was formed. Well, one observatory has modified one data point to indicate that there might have been a slight indication of activity in one area last month, so they gave it a half-sunspot count, but others laughed that spec off. The last time a whole month passed without a single sunspot was June 1913.

Extended periods of little to no sunspot activity has corresponded to periods of global cooling. (Note that Gore and friends have shifted to blathering about global climate change since their warming hoax is looking weaker these days.) Michael Asher, of DailyTech, says

In the past 1000 years, three previous such events — the Dalton, Maunder, and Spörer Minimums, have all led to rapid cooling. One was large enough to be called a “mini ice age”. For a society dependent on agriculture, cold is more damaging than heat. The growing season shortens, yields drop, and the occurrence of crop-destroying frosts increases.

Meteorologist Anthony Watts, who runs a climate data auditing site called Watts Up With That, noted:

Many have been keeping a watchful eye on solar activity recently. The most popular thing to watch has been sunspots. While not a direct indication of solar activity, they are a proxy for the sun’s internal magnetic dynamo. There have been a number of indicators recently that it has been slowing down.

Watts notes that it is believed that  the main factor in modulating Earth’s climate is solar magnetism modulating galactic cosmic rays, and hence creating more cloud nuclei. He adds:

We’ve had indications since October 2005 that the sun’s dynamo is slowing down. It dropped significantly then, and has remained that way since. Seeing no sunpots now is another indicator of that idling dynamo.

William Livingston and Matthew Penn, of the National Solar Observatory inTucson, Arizona wrote in their paper “Sunspots May Vanish by 2015”

Our data show that there are additional changes occurring in sunspots, independent of the sunspot cycle, and these trends suggest that sunspots will disappear completely. Such an event would not be unprecedented, since during a famous episode from 1645-1715, known as the Maunder Minimum, the normal 11-year periodicity vanished and there were virtually no sunspots visible on the solar surface (Eddy 1976). Recent studies of the appearance rate and latitudinal drift of sunspots (Hathaway et al., 2004) and of the solar magnetic field (Svalgard etal, 2005) predict that the number of sunspots visible in future cycles will be significantly reduced. Finally the occurrence of prolonged periods with no sunspots is important to climate studies, since the Maunder Minimum was shown to correspond with the reduced average global temperatures on the Earth.

What does the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Gore’s co-Nobel prize winners, offer in light of the recently observed cooling and solar inactivity? Their BIG announcement was:

Eat less meat to curb global warming.

At least they seem to be taking themselves as seriously as the rest of us take them these days.

As the US election approaches, BOTH major party platforms include planks for attacking man-made global warming. Politicians on both sides of the aisle have been sucked in by Al Gorebbels’ Big Lie, Repeated ENDLESSLY. It is incumbent upon us all, we, the people, to keep the pressure on our elected officials and wannabe elected officials to convince them to pay at least some attention to actual data instead of someone’s opinion of that data.

Poor Al Gore. His Big Lie hasn’t been getting the kind of repetition that he needs to fill his wallet with more of the only Green he’s really interested in since oil prices have displaced his propaganda. An Investor’s Business Daily poll was released showing that 73% of the polled adults think “fuel prices at the pump” are a bigger problem for the country than climate change. Bill Dupray, at PatriotRoom.com, recently hit it squarely on the nose! “You see, when gas prices are high, the Global Warming hoax reverts to what it was a couple of years ago: A quaint little side show of moonbats bumping into each other trying to figure out why nobody is paying attention to them.” What’s the nation’s self-appointed Propaganda Minister to do?

Well, Reich-Minister Gorebbels responded by jumping on his private jet, burning about 1,100 pounds of jet fuel, emitting more CO2 to the atmosphere than a typical family of three, and taking to the airwaves himself, stepping up his lunatic rants even further, now lying that we only have 10 years left! The sky is falling even faster than he has previously lied that it was falling, and we’re all going to die if we don’t pay homage to his propaganda and stop burning as much carbon-based fuel in a year than he does in a weekend!

As Gore’s propaganda-mentor, Joseph Goebbels, said ”

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Well, Gore has noted that it will only cost us a mere $3,000,000,000,000 (three TRILLION dollars) to shield the people from the political and economic consequences of his lie. BUT…After we’ve spent more than the GDP of every nation on the planet except the US, Japan, Germany, and China, we can all sit back and say…WOW! Life really WAS so much better when we had reliable energy and cars that would go more than 100 miles on a half-day charge, and Gorebbels will have another HUGE chunk of that money sitting in his VERY GREEN bank account!

NASA and Al Gore’s chief global warming hoaxer, Dr. James Hansen, has finally blown his gasket. In a speech to the National Press Club yesterday and in his posting to the ultra-left Huffington Post, Hansen suggested that those who do not agree with his apocalyptic rants should be “tried for high crimes against humanity and nature.” Hansen was speaking specifically of oil company executives, but left the door open to others who “choose to spread doubt about global warming.”

So, now, like a small child and in the face of a decade of NO warming and a single year that wiped out the hundred years of supposed warming, the chief of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies has called for jailing those who don’t believe him. One can almost hear his little feet stomping as his blog post is read. Interestingly, Hansen went on to say “If [the oil CEOs] campaigns continue and ’succeed’ in confusing the public, I anticipate testifying against relevant CEOs in future public trials.” Given his own decades-long efforts to confuse the public, perhaps we should all testify against him in a future public trial.

THEN…THEN…as if that wasn’t enough to confirm his complete loss of sanity, Hansen completely ignored the shift to “climate change” and went back to regurgitating his oft-repeated propaganda about the coming apocalypse of the warming that is not happening! “They’re coming to take him away, ha ha; They’re coming to take him away hee, hee…” Sorry…I just can’t seem to get that song out of my mind when these nuts begin spewing.

Interestingly, Hansen’s rants about arresting those who speak out against his opinions, follow the announcement in the 2006 George Soros Foundations Network Report that:

“James E. Hansen, the director of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies at NASA, protested attempts to silence him after officials at NASA ordered him to refer press inquiries to the public affairs office and required the presence of a public affairs representative at any interview. The Government Accountability Project, a whistleblower protection organization and OSI grantee, came to Hansen’s defense by providing legal and media advice. The campaign on Hansen’s behalf resulted in a decision by NASA to revisit its media policy.” (Emphasis mine)

Hansen ranted and raved about the Bush administration’s attempts to silence him when the real story was that a 23-year old NASA public affairs intern sent an email warning Hansen over repeated violations of NASA’s official press policy, which requires the agency be notified prior to interviews. Hansen ADMITTED to violating the standing NASA policy, then continued whimpering that the Bush administration has tried to stop him from speaking out.

Later in Soros’ annual report, in the Expenditures section for the USA, there’s a $720,000 grant for the “politicization of science.” Imagine that!!! The man who dedicated his life to destroying George Bush, has granted …someone… $720,000 to politicize science, and then comes little Jimmy Hansen crying that mean old President Bush has tried to silence his propaganda!

Gee, Dr. Hansen. How much of that politicization of science grant did you receive to politicize your global warming hoax?

While Hansen was publicly outed in 2006 for an error in his data that showed 1998 as the hottest year on record, he continues to ignore his own correction which showed 1934 as the hottest year, and continues to satisfy this politicization of science grant by repeating the erroneous data! Hansen’s own corrected data show 5 of the 10 warmest years on record now all occurring before World War II, yet he STILL sticks to his commitment to politicize science. Hansen made a name for himself by crying “The ice age is coming! The ice age is coming” in the early 70’s, shifted gears to apocalyptic rants about global warming (using the same causal factors???) in the 80’s, missed the political movement’s shift back to “climate change” in the last year or so, and has now slipped so far as to suggest that those who don’t believe his propaganda should be jailed for “high crimes against humanity and nature!” (Where is that law in the US Code by the way?)

Call in the guys with the nice white jackets with the wrap-around arms. This nut’s really blown his gasket this time!

Al Gore, that glittering jewel of hypocritical ignorance, has done it again!

After he was exposed last year for using 20 times more electricity than the average American household in just one of his houses, the Prophet of Global Warming Doom scrambled to make renovations to make that home more energy efficient. He did all the things he preaches that we all MUST do to save the planet from “man-made global warming” (now man-made global climate change since EVERY source shows cooling). He added solar panels, replaced his heating system with a geothermal system, threw out his eeeeeevil incandescent bulbs and replaced them with mercury filled squiggles, and changed out his windows and ductwork.

WOW! After all that, he MUST have really done his part to save the planet, huh? That’s what he tells us will happen, right?

WRONG! By following his own moronic demands, Gore INCREASED his electric consumption by 10%, 1,638 kilowatt hours PER MONTH! Most of us use less than 1,000 kWh per month, and his “green” renovations ADDED 1.6 TIMES our monthly consumption to his already gluttonous electric “footprint!” According to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, the lying SOB of Global Warming fame now uses 17,768 kWh PER MONTH! He’s guzzling enough energy in that one home alone to power 232 US homes for a month! Remember that the next time he screams about your relatively invisible carbon footprint!

Gore apparently couldn’t be reached for comment because he was on his private jet, burning more carbon based fuel than most of us use in a year, flying off to demand that everyone else go back to the stone ages. He added about $100,000,000 to his personal fortune last year doing just that, which should prove to anyone capable of rational thought, that his propaganda has NOTHING to do with the environment and has EVERYTHING to do with amassing as much money as he can get his grubby mitts on. His spokesperson did, however, say “He R a jeanyus. How dare ya queshun Him?”

I wonder if any of the schools that have forced their captive audience full of malleable minds to watch Gore’s propaganda piece will even mention this. Yeah…Right…FAT CHANCE!

I wonder if our children and grandchildren will even remember that their ancestors were once free. If we don’t stand up and put propagandists like Gore and friends down, I fear they will have no such chance.

Since scientists have begun documenting solar cycles, there have been 23such cycles. We are at the end of cycle 23 with the beginnings of cycle 24 just recently noticed. Simply put, a solar cycle is a period of sunspot activity which changes polarity with each cycle. The length and intensity of the sunspot cycle has significant implications to our climate, and, unlike anything you’ll see from Nobel prize crowd, solar activity actually correlates with earth’s climate history. Cycle 24 is just around the corner, and as geophysicist (that is a real and relevant scientist, unlike Al Gore’s hotel administrator) Philip Chapman, said, “It is time to put aside the global warming dogma, at least to begin contingency planning about what to do if we are moving into another little ice age.”

Recently, the sun seems to have lost it’s spots. There has been no sunspot activity for a fairly extended period, an occurrence which historically has correlated with periods of prolonged cold on Earth. The “Maunder Minimum,” which occurred in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, was a roughly 70 year period during the “Little Ice Age” during which solar activity decreased dramatically. Sunspots had been well documented for many years prior to the Maunder minimum, starting as early as the fourth century BC. Over a 50 year period during the Maunder Minimum, where 40,000-50,000 sunspots would typically have been observed, astronomers noted only 50.

As was noted in a Financial Press article from last month, “During the Little Ice Age, the River Thames froze over, the Dutch developed the ice skate and the great artists of the day learned to love a new genre: the winter landscape. In what had been a warm Europe , adaptations were not all happy: Growing seasons in England and Continental Europe generally became short and unreliable, which led to shortages and famine. These hardships were nothing compared to the more northerly countries: Glaciers advanced rapidly in Greenland, Iceland, Scandinavia and North America, making vast tracts of land uninhabitable. The Arctic pack ice extended so far south that several reports describe Eskimos landing their kayaks in Scotland. Finland’s population fell by one-third, Iceland’s by half, the Viking colonies in Greenland were abandoned altogether, as were many Inuit communities. The cold in North America spread so far south that, in the winter of 1780, New York Harbor froze, enabling people to walk from Manhattan to Staten Island.”

The article continued: “In the same way that the Earth shivered when sunspots disappeared, the Earth warmed when sunspot activity became pronounced.” (emphasis mine) “The warm period about 1000 years ago known as the Medieval Warm Period — a time of bounty in which grapes grew in England and Greenland was colonized — also was a time of high sunspot activity, called the Medieval Maximum.”

IMAGINE THAT!!!! As sunspot activity decreased, earth’s climate got cooler, and as sunspot activity increased, Earth warmed. IT’S THE SUN, STUPID!!!

Al Gore and his bleating sheep baah baah out the whine about a 1° temperature increase over a 100 year period. In the last 10 years, we have seen a 0.65° DECREASE in temperature. Well, actually, temperatures remained virtually unchanged for most of that last decade, then dropped nearly the equivalent of Gore’s entire century in the last year alone. Did we suddenly dump massively more CO2 into the atmosphere in the last year? That’s what Gore and his sycophants would have you believe. They’ve even changed their blather from “global warming” to “global climate change” in recognition of the undeniable! Was there such a sudden and dramatic infusion of CO2 to the atmosphere, as Gore et all STILL claim to be the cause of “climate change?” OF COURSE NOT!

The solar cycle has shifted. It is as DEAD SIMPLE as that. As with the rest of recorded history, earth’s climate changes in response to solar activity. It has done so before man came along, and it is doing so today. CO2 has nothing of any significance whatsoever to do with it. It’s the SUN, Stupid!

BUT…as long as Al Gore and his mindless propaganda regurgitators continue to consume the complicit press and our even more mindless elected representatives continue to fall for anything that blames America first, last, and always, we will do everything humanly possible to do EXACTLY the opposite of what we need to do. Instead of taking every drop of oil out of the ground that we can extract and store, building more nuclear AND coal power plants, returning our food crops to food usage instead of turning it into inefficient gasoline-substitutes, and building the economies of the nations capable of preparing for a potential climate shift, we will, unfortunately for our children and grandchildren, refuse to sanely address our energy needs, starve much of the world in the name of absurd token fuel alternatives, and destroy the very economies that keep the world running, all in the name of the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on the world.

That can all, of course, be changed. Do we have the courage and the will to call the kettle black (and Al Gore a lying moron)? Or will we sit silently and watch the propagandists perpetuate their lies to our own detriment?

I am announcing today the design of an internal combustion engine that is capable of 1,000 miles per gallon! Sure, some will say that such a design is impossible, but I can guarantee you that a consensus of scientists will agree with my design, so the debate is CLOSED!

How did I come up with such a design? Why, the same way that the consensus of Global Warming…er…I keep forgetting, it’s Global Climate Change now that the solar cycle has led to cooling, scientists have proven that man is responsible for global climate change. I used a computer model.

Yes, I have developed a computer model to test my design, and it has PROVEN that the design works exactly as designed and that gasoline consumption is required only for starting the engine. I would like to open the design and the model to peer review at this time.

Of course, just as the global climate change computer models have had to neglect some difficult-to-model phenomena, I have had to simplify my model as well. In my case I’ve left friction and heat out of the model. I’ve only left out two parameters. Al Gore’s scientists have neglected clouds, water vapor (the most prevalent greenhouse gas), solar variations, solar cycles, temperature variations within the atmosphere, and at least in most cases, common sense. I have skipped less than HALF as many significant factors as Gore’s “scientists” have, and I have even used verified data from past internal combustion engine performance. Gore’s “consensus” based their models on unverifiable, highly questionable, and in some cases, fabricated data, and their models have not even been able to predict the PRESENT, let alone the future! Sadly, that last issue is shared by my computer model as well, BUT… that hasn’t kept much of the world from swallowing …er… gaining an understanding of their models, so I do not believe it to be a significant detraction from my results either.

My design is simple. In fact, it’s an awful lot like the engines that are under most of your hoods today. Here it is for your viewing enjoyment:

According to my calculations, and as verified by my global-warming-superior computer model, this engine requires fuel ONLY when it is cranked. With no friction and no loss of energy to heat, it will simply run and run and run until the driver turns it off. AMAZING, huh?

Now, where do I sign up for one of those Nobel prizes?
